The recent construction of Yogyakarta International airport in Kulon Progo and the possible increase in international visitors means the demand for development of tourism capacity in Kulon Progo has never been greater. Located in the area of Menoreh Mountains, Kulon Progo has wonderful nature that includes woods, waterfall, lakes, and caves. This region also has local cultures and attractions that are well worth exploring. However, tourism in this area has not yet developed like in other nearby regions, largely due to the lack of experience, human resources and infrastructure.
